Gosh, and there I was cutting vertical sides for shear resistance; cleaning out the rubble using a leaf blower; getting rid of the water (lraf blower), drying the hole (warm weather); tar spray on the sides; then load & tamp; seal the edges. Looks like I was wasting my time.

that doesn't look like a lot of equiment needed! ezstreetashpalt, you should look into hiring people to make an app for freelance/contractor fillers; people with their own transportation and tools in the cincinnati area. i do courier work and i only have ONE car ..and I'd like to keep it in good condition. But with so many potholes in the same areas for a long time, limiting where i want to take my car, I'm starting to feel like getting out of my car and patching this crap myself!

Would someone need experience to get into this type of work? I am looking at a career change for something new and any pointers would be welcomed.

Yes Grasshopper, But you must eliminate the problem that caused the pothole or it will return. You must conquer the cause first. Eliminate the unstable, uncompacted earth or it will return.

cool to hear. bitumen isn't good at all for the ground/Earth, and working on paving projects for a number of years, the environmentalist in me was always curious how we'd remedy road building. yes, public transport helps get cars off the road etc but we still need roads and always will. glad projects like this exist.

I've known EZ STREET since the year 2000 and I can assure you that it doesn't get any better. EZ STREET lasts a lifetime.

My EZ street patches are still going strong almost three months later, money well spent.

Temporary fix not bad. Cold patch in the winter holds up pretty well but in the summer it’s soft and if you turn your tires on it , it will ravel out .

That pothole will pop out most important part doing a pothole is the edges of the pothole you should about 20 cm over the edge so it is more likely to not to pop out
